A bicyclist was seriously injured on Saturday when he was struck by a car in front of a Camp Pendleton entrance, according to California Highway Patrol.

The accident occurred around 9:24 am at North Las Pulgas Road and Interstate 5, in front of a Camp Pendleton entrance. Lieutenant Curtis Williamson of the Camp Pendleton Public Affairs Office says, according to a military police report, it was a non-military vehicle that hit the bicyclist.
