Randy Walton was born and raised in Southern California, and represents clients throughout that region. He represents individuals and families who have been impacted by serious personal injuries or wrongful death, and also dedicates a substantial portion of his law practice to the prosecution of nursing homes, residential care facilities, and assisted living facilities, including home health care, in cases involving the abuse and neglect of seniors and dependent adults. Mr. Walton has lectured on the topic of elder abuse and neglect, most recently at the California State Bar Annual Meeting.
Mr. Walton is a member in good standing with the State Bar of California, and is qualified to practice in all California Superior Courts, the U.S. District Court, Southern District of California, and the U.S. Supreme Court. He is also an active member of the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego, the Consumer Attorneys of California, and the American Association for Justice.
Prior to attending California Western School of Law in San Diego, Mr. Walton graduated from the University of California, San Diego.
Scott Barber is also a Southern California native, and focuses his law practice on cases of elder abuse and neglect, commercial real estate, medical malpractice, and personal injury litigation. Prior to the formation of Walton Barber LLP, Mr. Barber practice law with a national law firm where he represented two of the largest privately owned nursing chains in the United States. As a result, he brings a an unique perspective to the prosecution of nursing homes in cases of abuse or neglect as he has an insider's perspective of how such facilities and companies work.
Mr. Barber is a member in good standing with the State Bar of California, and is qualified to practice in all California Superior Courts, and the U.S. District Court, Southern District of California. He is also an active member of the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego and the San Diego County Bar Association.
Prior to attending California Western School of Law, where he was a member of the Law Review, Mr. Barber graduated from the University of California, San Diego. He also served in the United States Marine Corps at Camp Pendleton.
