Two Killed in Head-On Motorcycle Collision

Two people died in a head-on motorcycle collision with a Cadillac Escalade on State Route 78, said Sand Diego Police.

The collision occurred just east of the San Diego wild Animal Park at 9:48am, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The victims were riding a 2006 Yamaha going east, when the bike crossed into oncoming traffic and hit the Cadillac head-on, said Vandiver. A third vehicle caught on fire after hitting some debris from the accident, said Vandiver.
